After growing tired of 15-year unbeaten Madden franchises, and realising I had barely played this year's game due to the release of Battlefield 3, I decided to get on board with my good friend and begin a new kind of challenge.

Additionally, I put a restriction on myself which would not allow me to upgrade positions in my initial season unless need necessitated it (for example, an injury to a starting lineman and the next on offer was 60ovr, while an 80ovr sat in free agency). This includes trades.
After year one, within reason (IE no blatant ripping off the AI like trading a player for a similar-rated player and 2nd and 3rd round picks) it's open season so long as I can manage the cap for at least 5 years.
